Quick, same-day removal of skin tags, viral warts, seborrhoeic keratoses and dermatosis papulosa nigra, the small dark bumps common on African skin.

Small growths, gone in one visit
These growths are harmless but they catch, itch and multiply. Cryotherapy (controlled freezing), electrocautery or a fine snip removes them in minutes, with settings chosen to avoid dark or light marks on deeper skin.

What is skin tags and warts?
Skin tags are soft flaps of skin in folds such as the neck, armpits and groin. Warts are rough growths caused by a virus and spread by touch. Seborrhoeic keratoses are waxy brown growths that come with age. Dermatosis papulosa nigra are the tiny dark bumps on the cheeks and temples seen in many people of African descent.
None of these is dangerous. They are removed for comfort, appearance or to stop warts spreading.
Why treat it
Medical reasons
Warts spread to other sites and other people, and tags in folds get inflamed. Anything that bleeds, grows quickly or looks unusual is examined before it is removed.
Confidence and comfort
Clear skin on the neck, face and eyelids, usually in a single short visit.
The process
From assessment to results
The dermatologist confirms what each growth is and chooses the method for the site and your skin tone.
Same visit:
- Numbing cream or a tiny injection where needed
- Cryotherapy, electrocautery or snip removal
- Five to twenty minutes
A small scab forms and falls off within one to two weeks. Keep it clean, do not pick, and use sunscreen on the area.
Smooth skin. Stubborn warts occasionally need a second session; new tags can appear over the years and are treated the same way.

Who treats you
Your dermatologist
Does it hurt?
Cryotherapy stings briefly like an ice burn; cautery is done after numbing. Most people describe it as mild.
Will it leave dark marks?
Deeper skin can darken or lighten after any procedure. We use the gentlest effective setting and sun protection to keep this to a minimum.
Can warts come back?
The virus can persist, so some return and need a second treatment. Most clear fully.
Do you treat warts in children?
Yes, gently, with methods suited to the child’s age.
How many can be removed at once?
As many as is comfortable in one session, often ten to twenty.
